Since long Galicia (Northwest Spain) has been a prolific region to originate some of the best extreme metal acts from all Iberia Peninsula. One could easily recall Sartegos, Balmog, Xérion and Suspiral, just to name a few. This time we have a new name: Arkaik Excruciation. As the name itself invokes the impure sense of primitivism invades every thought before listening to their aggressive and merciless songs. After an intense and furious demo tape release, ‘Among the Vortex of Chaos’ in 2014, Caverna Abismal Records is proud to join forces with Duplicate Records to present their debut full-length offering. ‘Cursed Blood Of Doom’ is one of those rare albums that leave an instant imprint on the darker recesses of the subconscious. More of a ritualistic experience than a mere collection of songs, its different parts segue into one another, adding a feverish atmosphere to the devilish proceedings. Musically, Arkaik Excruciation take their cues from the origins of extreme metal, way back when death, black and thrash metal were stewing in the same primordial cauldron. Devotees of bands such as Necrovore, Poison, Sadistic Intent, Sarcófago, early Morbid Angel and so on should soon feel the ‘Cursed Blood Of Doom’ coursing through their veins!
